 In-app dumps/loads Map Developed

Dump and load events were mapped to identify deviations, including location, material type, and tonnage using Material Movement Map and Geospatial Data Quality screens and dashboards.

The Outcome

Prevented 20,000t of Ore from not being Processed

The opportunity cost for this event was estimated at USD 1 million of ore (0.2-0.4% Cu).

Corrective actions have been implemented to recover the ore-grade material dumped in the pit area.

Additionally, the site has initiated new procedures to improve dispatch and FMS administration using the ‘Material Movement’ screen from the Stockpile and Inventory Optimization Application to reduce dumping errors.
