Accelerating Digital Transformation in Mining.
IntelliSense.io is delighted to announce today the appointment of Nick Owen CBE to its board team. Nick was, until recently, the Executive Chair of Deloitte UK and Deloitte North & South Europe.

Prior to these Chair roles, Nick led Deloitte’s Private Sector Consulting Industry team with a focus on extractive industries and was Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen.
As a result, he has over 35 years experience of working with large multinationals at both board and executive management levels driving purpose-driven transformational change to deliver positive commercial outcomes.
In addition, Nick has a reputation as an ESG thought leader having developed sustainable business models and through his work defining the role that business should play in society.
Nick is a Trustee of the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity and is both a Trustee and Chairs the Business Leaders Council at Teach First, the social enterprise aiming to address educational disadvantages in England and Wales.
Nick is married with 4 children and lives in Surrey, UK.
He joins Kevin O’Kane (ex-BHP Senior Exec and COO at SSR Mining) and Markus Solibidea (Managing Director of Global Corporate Venture Capital at BASF) on the IntelliSense.io board.
I am really pleased to be able to bring my experience to Sam and his team at IntelliSense.io.
Nevermore so has it been critical that we help the mining industry to drive the levels of digital transformation that will be needed to hit the ambitious Clean Energy Transition targets we all want and need.
I have been incredibly impressed with the results the team at IntelliSense.io are already driving at mining companies across the globe and these are the reasons I want to help support their good work.
I am delighted that Nick has joined us on our journey. Our vision is to be the ‘Decision Intelligence’ platform for the Circular Economy of Metals and to increase net metal supply.
We are first transforming upstream mining operations to make them sustainable, safe and efficient and then we will follow through downstream in the metals and materials value chain to enable battery metal recycling at scale.
